The first thing you need is an appropriate bachelor’s degree. You can have a degree in molecular biology, pharmacology, genetics, biochemistry, or chemistry. Also, you can do UG in biomedical science, biotechnology or biomedical engineering, B.Tech., or B.Pharm, prior doing any advanced course in Biomedical Science.

Screening and testing of diseases related to lifestyle along with screening for infectious diseases like Ebola, hepatitis, etc.

Once you are done with your education, you can get various jobs, based on your qualification.
Research institutes and companies in India would pay about Rs. 1.2 lakh to Rs. 2.2 lakhs annually at the start. A fresher might also get about Rs. 3 lakh annual salary in some cases. With master’s degree, one can get about Rs. 1.8 lakhs to Rs. 3.2 lakhs annually.
